Head instructor and owner is Shihan Mike J. Skinner
Mike has been the Martial Arts for over 25 years and was trained by Sifu Maria and Ray Warwick
and has been teaching since 1972.

Shihan has all three of his son's teaching for him

Sifu Mike Skinner Jr. is a 2nd Degree Black Belt
and has been teaching since 1990.

Sifu Matt Skinner is a 1st Degree Black Belt
and has been teaching since 1993, and is currently
teaching all of the beginning Kids.

Mark Skinner hold a Green Belt and helps teach the Adult Classes to Beginners.

At Aberdeen Kenpo Karate we offer Kids and Adult Classes Kids classes are broken down into two groups

Beginning KidsClasses
                     5pm - 6pm
                     Monday, Wendsday and Friday

Advanced Kids Classes
                     6pm - 7pm
                    Monday, Wendsday and Friday

Adult Classes
                    7pm - 8:30pm
                   Monday, Wendsday and Friday


Sundays - All Ages
                    6:30pm - 8:30pm
Women's self-defense classes are offered
Five (5) weeks in duration
$25.00 Fee
Sundays 5 - 6pm
Minimum of 10 sign ups to begin class

We feel we have an excellent program combining both physical and psychological enhancing methods



Physically, our program can assist with balance, coordination, flexibility and power



Psychologically, we seek to assist with self confidence, self esteem and help the individual to achieve a sense of self accomplishment



At AKK the students are our first priority



The Aim of self-defense is not to hurt your opponent, but rather to avoid getting hurt yourself.
