Urgent to whomever that will Respond

My name is John Kraemer and I have been involved in Karate for the past 18 years. Ranks held are as follows, Rokudan - Okinawan ShimPu Ren, Shodan - Tae Kwon Do, and 5th Kyu Daito Ryu - Aikido. My wife, Kass, and I teach in the Grays Harbor , WA area (in 5 towns) and I at 55 yrs young, have found more friends through the Arts than in any of life's other activities.

Kass and I have a request, of anyone, who is not local to Washington and would also like response from other countries. If you are going to travel abroad this would also include you (even if from WA.) Our wish is this: Kass's Sister, Dawn Adele Proctor, died in a tragic auto accident in the mountains near Prineville, Oregon on June 15, 1997. She was a neat gal, mother of 4, 35 years old, who loved life and although she never had enough money to cover basic living needs, raised her four kids the best she could. Because of responsibility and poverty, she was never able to travel out of her immediate home space, except to live in Missouri for a short while.

After her death and cremation, the family decided that we'd give her the trips around this wonderful country of ours, and the world, that she never had while alive. Thus was born this idea!

To whomever responds we will send a small packet containing a portion of Dawn's ashes, along with a return address. We'd like to have you supply an envelope (from your area). For example: one couple recently went to California and took Dawn to Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios Tour, and Disneyland. They then mailed her back in a Disneyland hotel envelope. We'd like to know where she's been, also! To make a long story short, we'd like to send Dawn around the World. Since we don't know postage rates, we would reimburse for same upon return of packet, if necessary. Also be sure to write your address and State and Country on envelope, since some postmarks are weak or unreadable.

We would like to complete her travels before June, 1998, as we plan to gather, as a family, where she died, on June 15th, 1998.

There we plan on opening all your letters and sharing comments from you. Feel free to take her places and tell us about it. At that time we will scatter her ashes, where she died, and erect a small marker in remembrance of our friend, Dawn Adele Proctor
